(currently LG Electronics Inc.) in 1958. Both companies Lucky and GoldStar merged and formed Lucky-Goldstar.

LG Corporation is a leading global South Korean conglomerate corporation headquartered in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. It was founded in January 1947 by Koo In-Hwoi. LG specializes in electronics, chemicals and telecom products, having operations in more than 80 countries globally.

The LG logo is undoubtedly one of the most recognized logos in the electronics marketplace. It stares you right in the face! The logo comprises of a strikingly innovative corporate identity, featuring the letter “L” and “G” in the form of a human face.
The LG logo comprises of the letters “L” and “G” contained inside a circle. The circle symbolizes the globe, future, youth, humanity and technology.
The LG logo wonderfully exemplifies the company’s relentless efforts to make their customers happy. The stylized symbol of the smiling face embodies friendliness, trustworthiness and accessibility. The “one eye” is intended to be goal-oriented, focused and positive.
